Description

GRC (Glass Fiber Re Informed Concrete) is also called GRC. Its Chinese name is glass fiber reinforced concrete. It is a composite material that uses cement mortar as the base material and alkali-resistant glass fiber as the reinforcement material. At the same time, it also includes various additives for enhancing performance, pigments, etc.  The GRC manufacturing process is very unique. The prepared glass fiber concrete is sprayed on the template with fine texture, which can ensure the product to achieve excellent compactness, strength and crack resistance.  The quality of the product thus produced is quite different from that of the ordinary concrete daubing process.  In Europe and America, single-layer GFRC sheet is widely used as exterior wall decorative board.

Japanese scholars have done a comparison of carbon emissions between GRC wallboard and reinforced concrete wallboard, and the use of GRC wallboard can reduce carbon emissions by 30%.
